Audit log and session rules
See who did what in your coview workspace, export the audit log, and limit sign-in sessions and the networks your team can use.
The audit log records what people do in your workspace: who, what, on which item, from which IP address, and when. Session rules decide how long your team stays signed in and from where.
Read the audit log
- Open Team and the Audit log tab. It needs the Audit log permission.
- Entries are listed newest first, with Time, Who, What, Target and IP.
- Click Load older entries to go further back.
Among what's recorded:
- Team: invitations sent, resent, revoked or declined, people joining, role changes and removals, custom roles created, changed or deleted.
- Recordings and co-browsing: opening a recording, starting to watch a visitor live, deleting a recording, changing recording settings, every co-browsing request and its end.
- Conversations and tickets: assigning, status changes, messages your team starts, tickets created, converted and updated, trackers created and solved.
- Calls: calls started, answered and declined.
- Settings: sites, identity verification, ticket settings, saved replies, integrations, API keys, security, single sign-on and user provisioning.
- Billing: opening checkout and the payment portal.
What an API key changes is recorded under the key's name, and what your identity provider changes through SCIM under the SCIM address.
Export it
- Open Settings › Security & SSO. The Audit log panel at the bottom shows the latest entries.
- Click Export CSV.
The file holds up to the 5,000 newest entries, with the columns when, who, action, target and ip.
Session rules
In Settings › Security & SSO, under Sessions and network. Changing them needs the Sign-in, SSO and security permission, and they apply to everyone in the workspace. Session length and allowed networks are on the Business plan and higher.
Sign people out after
- A fixed length: 30 days (default), 8 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours or 7 days after signing in.
- Or after no activity for 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 2 hours (or no limit).
Only allow these networks
- Enter one IP address or range per line, with a label after it if you like, for example
203.0.113.0/24 Austin office. - Click Save networks.
Leave the box empty to allow anywhere. Up to 20 networks. The page shows your current address, and a list that would lock you out is refused.
Sign everyone out now
Sign out all ends every session except yours, so everyone signs in again. Use it after changing these rules or when an account may have been misused.
